About PARWA

PARWA is a registered Resident Welfare Association (Reg No # HR/018/2018/03309), under HRRS 2012 Act to serve the Presidia Araya complex. In accordance with the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act (HRRS) Act 2012 only a single RWA shall be formed in a single gated community.

PARWA is governed by Memorandum of Association and Bylaws formulated under HRRS 2012 Act and the provisions of the Haryana Apartment ownership Act, 1983 as amended from time to time. All members of PARWA constitute the General Body of the association. The PARWA General Body plays vital role in guiding the association in determining and fulfilling its aims and objectives including electing the Governing Council for managing day to day affairs. The General Body also participates in approval of financial accounts/statements of PARWA and in the key decisions related to various policy matters. The members of the PARWA General body are entitled to cast their vote for the electing the members of the Governing Council of the association.

The elected office bearers of the association constitute the PARWA Governing Council. Their duty is to manage the day-to-day affairs of the association for a fixed term. The Governing Council is responsible for achieving the aims and objectives of the association and is expected to work in the interest of the association and the residents. The PARWA Governing Council plays a crucial role in the apartment complex in taking care of the many aspects such as the condition of internal roads, improvement in amenities and common facilities, drainage, streetlights, overall cleanliness, water harvesting and civic amenities such as water and electricity. The Governing council is also responsible for setting up various committees to take upkeep of the complex, maintenance of plant and machinery, housekeeping, horticulture and various other social and cultural initiatives in the complex.

The term of the elected PARWA Governing Council is three years. The constitution of the Governing Council is valid only upon approval by the District Registrar and its tenure commences from the date of its approval.
